The earth, the planet, and the consciousness of business
Co-op America has a great article on “What’s a Green Business”?
To quote Co-op America:
“These businesses adopt principles, policies, and practices that improve the quality of life for their customers, their employees, communities, and the environment.”
It pains me that so many entrepreneurs these days are riding the green bandwagon without any true regard to our planet, our wildlife, our people’s welfare. They see dollars and cents in it. For me, it’s about a “walk the walk and talk the talk” lifestyle. My goal, as a Virtual Assistant is to mentor, educate and inform my client base on the things they can do in their business to help the world.
I am blessed in that all my current clients fit this mold. They are each doing something, on a daily basis, to nurture and help others, or help the ecology on this planet.
This earth was freely given to us all. We are all the guardians of each tree, each flower, each blade of grass, each drop of water, and each animal. We all have a place here.
