Softening the business of doing business
I march to the beat of my own drum. I deliberately do not follow many tried and true business practices. For instance, I mix certain aspects of my personal life with my professional life. Why? It fits who I am and the kind of business I want to run. Sometimes I title my posts to fit what I am feeling versus what will bring me better SEO rankings. It is crucial to me to reach my clients in a certain way, so that they know I truly care about what they are doing and about them as people. I operate my business in an earth conscious fashion, and always have respect for the environment in whatever I do. I try to tutor my clients in the same fashion.
The inspiration for this post was to thank certain people who have linked to me on their blogs or websites. I actually just noticed today that Wordpress has those links prominently displayed when one logs in.
