Mobile phone / PDA email etiquette
Lifehacker blog has an interesting article today on ones approach to email etiquette when using a mobile phone. Quite honestly, I use the same standard of etiquette for my mobile email as I do for my desktop email. The concept is a basic consideration of the recipients time and schedule. I try to get as much “to the point” as possible, thereby not wasting too much time for the person I am emailing.
Email etiquette, in general, is essential for a Virtual Assistant, since we have multiple clients and in most cases, are also in email contact with clients of clients. Both our business, and in many if not all cases, our clients business, is judged on the quality of our emails and the consideration taken whilst composing them.
Thaindian News also has an article on more interesting aspects of email etiquette. It’s worth a read!
